Maybank Cardless Cash Withdrawal

Ok. I was laughing at this service when it was launched. Well, it saved me on one day. I was out of cash & I realised I misplaced my ATM card with my old wallet. So clever.... Thus, I think it is a good courtesy to share with others. Who knows, it may help you one day. What you need to have? An active maybank2u account (with cash in it) A smartphone/ computer with internet connection  (MUST use browser, APP doest not support this feature when I test it) An ATM machine (I used a Maybank ATM; Maybank did not specify it has to be Maybank ATM) Ten minutes time Recipient needs to have a mobile phone that can receive SMS (i know this sound stupid; Let's put it this way - you can't send to him if he lost his phone) Summary: Maximum transaction cash is RM300 x 2 = RM600 per day It is basically very easy to follow through the step-by-step If you really wish to know the details, I have copied the details from maybank2u website as below.  Che...

Mac iPhoto to Create Multiple User Accounts

Sometimes it doesn't make sense to import photos from multiple devices e.g. my wife & my phone into one iPhoto library. Reason: Photos will mixed up if my wife and me are taking photos for different events at the same time You can create and manage more library by following steps below. To create a new photo library: Quit iPhoto. Hold down the Option key as you open iPhoto. In the window that appears, click Create New. Type a name and choose a location to store the new photo library. Click Save. The iPhoto  Source list  shows your new, empty photo library. Any photos you import are added to this library. You can switch to another library you’ve created at any time. To switch between photo libraries: Quit iPhoto. Hold down the Option key as you open iPhoto. Select the library you want to switch to. Click Choose. To move photos from one library to another: Export the photos  from one library. This does...

Car Remote - The Best Anti-theft Alarm You May Not Aware

I find this quite true.  I have been thinking about installing alarm when I renovated my house. Yet 5 years after renovation, I didn't realise car's alarm system can be as good until I read an article somewhere. The facts: All cars have alarm system that can be triggered by car remote Car has MORE & BRIGHTER LIGHTS blinking that enable your neighbour to know you are in trouble (I normally couldn't identify which neighbour household has alarm triggered) Thus, bring your car remote to bed with you. A small effort may save you one day.

Mac OS X Keyboard - Enable F1-F12 as default for gaming

In Mac OS X, you need to press Fn+F1 to activate F1. Same for F2 to F12. For some games, F1-F12 are part for the shortcut keys actively being used. Let's make F1-F12 as default without the need to use the "Fn" key. Steps: Open System Preference Open Keyboard Tick the checkbox-- Use all F1,F1, etc as standard function keys Enjoy!!

OS X: Keyboard shortcut reference list

(Reference from Apple ) It is always hard to find the shortcut when you need it especially for non-heavy Mac user like myself. Let's have it here too. A modifier key is a part of many keyboard shortcuts. A modifier key alters the way other keystrokes or mouse/trackpad clicks are interpreted by OS X. Modifier keys include: Command, Shift, Option, Control, Caps Lock, and the fn key. These keys are represented by special symbols when you see them in menus and other parts of OS X: ⌘ Command key ⌃ Control key ⌥ Option key ⇧ Shift Key ⇪ Caps Lock fn Function Key When the fn key is used with the top row of keys on your keyboard, it makes them  perform a different function . For example, if a keyboard shortcut is Control-F2, you press fn-Control-Brightness on your keyboard. If you look closely at the Brightness key at the top of your keyboard, there is an F2 symbol indicating that this key works as a function key (F2 or function 2) when you hold fn on the keyboard. ...
