How to use YouTube on MiTV2/ Android box when you cannot login

I am a bit sad when I know that I cannot login to YouTube on MiTV2. I will missed all my playlist etc.  You will get a message as such when you try to login: This will happen when you are using all the Chinese modified Android version's TV boxes or even TV.  There is a way to install Google Play Store.  If not wrong, it requires rooting of the Android device.  Thus, I am a bit reluctant to do so. BUT, thanks for google's effort in app development. There is a simple way to work around using Miracast & Pairing the connected TV. Steps: Of course, side load YouTube Google TV apk onto your SmartTV first. On TV, open YouTube -- click menu button on the TV remote OR go to the option menu on bottom left of TV screen Choose the "Pair with mobile device" option - You will see a special CODE displayed on TV On the smartphone, open the Youtube App.  For Android, click on top right button for setting.  For iOS, Setting is in the menu in top ...

All You Need to Know to Prepare yourself for 3D at Home

3D seems to be very complicated especially when you just start to understand it. It took me weeks to get things clear out. Note: My summary below are my learning from: Xiaomi TV2 - Passive 3D via LG LED Panel Mac Mini 2012 Plex Software Redmi 1S Let's discuss this by topics: 3D TV  Technology Generally speaking, 3D consists of: 1. Active 3D - using heavier 3D glasses that need to use battery (potential to cause crosstalk image) 2. Passive 3D - lighter glasses with no battery required (half HD resolution on HD tv; full HD resolution on 4k tv) Whether it's is active or passive, it's all rely on your TV.  Glasses form is the quick indication of your TV 3D technology. Samsung LED panel is Active 3D while LG LED panel is Passive 3D. Personally, I prefer Passive over Active due to maintenance free. Also, with 4K TV, Passive 3D will provide equal Full HD experience as Active. 3D Media File Format 1. 3D TV channels - TV will auto...
