Plex on Android TV/ MiTV2
Earlier on, I stated Plex doest not work on Android TV.
I was wrong, I missed out a simple step.
Simple enough where most Plex TV users did not post a guide on this.
Thus, I decide to document it here.
In short, the latest plex app support TV mode in the setting.
Steps:
- Get the latest Plex apk file.
- If you are PlexPass subscribers, you can download the latest version straight from the forum
- Install the app. You can find the guide HERE if you are using Andoird phone to install to your TV
- Open the app. It is now still in Mobile mode as picture below. Click the top right button (3 dots)
- Click Setting (as highlighted)
- Go to GENERAL
- Go to Application Layout
- Choose TV Mode
