Toyota Corolla Cross's Original Wireless Charger Adjustment

Note.  The service center will not help you to do this.
I asked today during my 1k service.

I am making these adjustments due to the clip gap is too small for my Samsung fold 3

The wireless charger is installed and not intended to be removed.

There is this pin under the front part of the wireless charger.

You can try if you can slide to the front before lifting it up.
In this process, you will tear the double-sided tape at the front and back bottom of the charger.

Steps:

  1. When you manage to lift the charger up, you can pull it out to do the rest.
REMEMBER to make sure the car break is on and Gear moves to N to get more space for work.
  2. Unscrew the two screws on the left and right
  3. Push up the clip, and you will see the red circle number 3 wrap around a white cable.
Use a sharp scissor to snap the grey plastic (NOT THE WHITE CABLE)
  4. Remove the clip part as in the picture above

There is two metal piece left there as in the picture.  Lastly, push the charger and fit it into place.
Now it works for my Samsung Fold 3 by just putting on it.
(As clip is no more, not sure how stable the phone will stay in place)
