I actually found watching 3D movies very nice to watch after owning my own 3D TV. I would like to share my experience on setting up 3D viewing on MiTV2. Sources of  3D videos: 3D TV channels Computer Blu-ray  Streaming Apps e.g. ICNTV, Plex How to switch to 3D mode on TV? HDMI Sources e.g. 3D TV channels, Computer & Blu-ray Using Menu button on remote control - for content sourced via HDMI Streaming Apps  3D content in ICNTV (MiTV default VOD library) - Automatic Other streaming apps excluding ICNTV  Neither Automatic nor able to change via Menu Button on remote control Solution: Touch Panel below MiTV

This is a problem that troubled me a long long time. Up to a month.  And this sound is so irritating that i played PS4 much lesser too. What I have tried: Clear all the notifications (it works for one time) Go into sleep mode (at total shutdown -- hold power down for about 8 second and let go once 2nd beep is heard) Rebuild database Update system OS (oddly enough it can keep update the OS with the same OS you already installed) Think i have only not tried to reset and delete all data i have (cos many games are downloaded via PlayStation Plus Free Games -- don't want to lose them) Only after the a long search, one PS4 support forum's thread identify the real problem: The Screw for manual eject of disc drive is loose. I am a bit sad when I know that I cannot login to YouTube on MiTV2. I will missed all my playlist etc.  You will get a message as such when you try to login: This will happen when you are using all the Chinese modified Android version's TV boxes or even TV.  There is a way to install Google Play Store.  If not wrong, it requires rooting of the Android device.  Thus, I am a bit reluctant to do so. BUT, thanks for google's effort in app development. There is a simple way to work around using Miracast & Pairing the connected TV. Steps: Of course, side load YouTube Google TV apk onto your SmartTV first. Earlier on, I stated Plex doest not work on Android TV. I was wrong, I missed out a simple step. Simple enough where most Plex TV users did not post a guide on this. Thus, I decide to document it here. In short, the latest plex app support TV mode in the setting. Steps: Get the latest Plex apk file. If you are PlexPass subscribers, you can download the latest version straight from the forum Install the app.  You can find the guide HERE  if you are using Andoird phone to install to your TV Open the app.  It is now still in Mobile mode as picture below. I have done a lots of reading and planning for mounting my MiTV2 before purchase. Few items still arrived as surprises. Things you need to know for installing MiTV on Wall Mount: Mounting Holes at the Back of MiTV 2  The mounting holes dimension/ distance on MiTV are 300mm x 300mm Importantly, these holes are differs by 1cm height (lower pair are higher than the upper pair) Work Around: Once you bought your Mount, take one bolt sample that need to screw on MiTV Go to hardware shop Buy multiple washers that fit (need to be able to stack-up to 2cm = 1cm each for the 2 holes on top row) -- I used around 6 washer to stack up 1cm Picture of washer & bolt - make sure bolt cap is larger than washer's hole This is how it looks on my TV bracket/ mount: Wall Mount/Bracket  Old Mount or Bracket for LCD TV 32"-42" can cope up to 21kg weight MiTV 2 only weight around 12kg, you can reuse the old mount.  I reused mine Cable Connections ...

Apps inside MiTV app store are very limited. Sideload of apps is possible. However, caution that MiTV 2 does not enable mouse pointer installation. Thus, apps require a mouse pointer to operate are less optimal even you are able to install. Preparation: Get an Micro SD card, Enable save all apps to SD card in setting Get ready an Android smartphone OR tablet Connect both TV and smartphon/ tablet on same WiFi Network Note: Most video apps from China restrict for China usage only.  A VPN or DNS routing is required to access these content General Sideload Steps:  MiTV Go to App Store Go to Right most page & Choose installing via smart devices Android Smartphone/ Tablet - get APK file Open browser Go to the dedicated website to download your wanted APK file Android Smartphone/ Tablet - install APK file Open new tab, enter the IP address shows on MiTV Tap choose file - open Explorer - choose Phone memory - choose Download folder (This is the down...

3D seems to be very complicated especially when you just start to understand it. It took me weeks to get things clear out. Active 3D - using heavier 3D glasses that need to use battery (potential to cause crosstalk image) 2. Passive 3D - lighter glasses with no battery required (half HD resolution on HD tv; full HD resolution on 4k tv) Whether it's is active or passive, it's all rely on your TV.  Glasses form is the quick indication of your TV 3D technology.
